I started working for Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare January of 2008. I am part of a great team of people who really enjoy seeing patients and welcoming them to our clinic. It is my responsibility to schedule appointments & make sure our patients are checked in for their appointments. I like to help out wherever I am needed.

My enjoyments in life are spending time with family, friends & my many animals.

It's exciting to be a key part of a progressive, leading edge practice. It's one of my jobs though to make sure that you're comfortable being here and feel welcomed. We know the technology can be overwhelming for some patients.

I have been helping people see better and look great since 1989 and as a Licensed Dispensing Optician since 1994. I met doctors Suzan and Bradford Grimm in 2002 and along with my co-optician and office manager Jeff Brooks helped them launch Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare. I am proud to be apart of an advanced eye care team who puts the patients eye health and well being as top priority. It has been a privilege to experience continued patronage from residents of Duvall and the surrounding communities. My hobbies include Taekwon Do, various fitness training, reading and enjoying many types of music. My husband and I have been Duvall residents for more than 22 years. We have a son, daughter and a dog named Polar.

I started in the optical industry along with my parents making lenses at a very young age nearly 40 years ago and aside from 5 years in the Marine Corps have been in this industry the entire time. I have been with Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare since we opened as both licensed optician and clinic manager working for, simply, the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of serving.
I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy backpacking in remote corners of the world. At home I keep life interesting by commuting full-time from Seattle to Duvall by either bicycle or motorcycle.

Having moved here from Florida, I have lived in the wonderful town of Duvall since 2003. I have had the extra bonus of also working in the same community at Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare since 2004. Working in the billing department has allowed me to utilize my previous billing experience to help our patients understand the benefits available to them through their health plans. I enjoy the detail work involved in solving the billing questions and working with the insurance companies to come up with a resolution. Being part of a team that puts the patient first is something you don't find everyday in the medical business world. Our office truly stands behind our mission statement which we use as a guide for our patient care.

Whenever we get a chance, my husband and I love to get away to the mountains, exploring different Forest Service roads in our 4 wheel drive and a picnic is usually included .

I've been working at Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare since January 2007. I'm an Optometric Assistant and have a degree as a Medical Assistant. My responsibility is to make sure our doctors have all the information they need to take care of your eyes. I also manage recall, order contact lens and help out wherever needed.

I enjoy working in an environment with people who are compassionate about their jobs and care so much about making this a positive experience for every patient.

I also work at The Last Frontier Saloon in Fall City on the weekends. In my spare time I enjoy going to shows, reading, hiking, tattoos, and spending time with my lab pointer mix Augustus.

Hi---I'm Roma and I came to Duvall Advanced Family EyeCare in March 2009 from
a finish lab. I have worked in labs making glasses for several years when I
decided to learn a different aspect of the optical world. And I'm glad I did!

I enjoy working with such an awesome staff, learning new things and working with our patients. I assist in the exam rooms, help out at the front desk and help the opticians by checking in finished glasses.

Outside of work I enjoy my three beautiful American Pitbull Terriers, and working in my greenhouse with my husband.

As a valley resident since I was three, I enjoy working close to home in a community "where everybody knows your name". I love working at Duvall Advanced Family Eyecare with exceptional Doctors and friendly, knowledgeable and supportive colleagues. My Computer Applications Specialist Certification provides me with the ability to help the practice keep up on the latest Internet technology and "tweet" away. I am also learning new Optical skills from Jeff and Cathy and am happy to help patients understand their insurance benefits or select some new glasses! In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband, son, dog and family.
